Jeff Healey, 41, Died Of Cancer Yesterday
Norman Jeffrey Healey popularly known as Jeff Healey died yesterday after 40 decades of fighting a rare kind of cancer called retinoblastoma. Jeff was known as a gifted music artist who had a unique way of playing his guitar (he played it on his lap).
Jeff Healey was hailed at Toronto, Ontario, Canada and was born on 1966. He was diagnosed with cancer at age one. But despite his illness he had learned to play the guitar and harnessed his voice by creating a number of bands on his lifetime. And the most prominent of this is the Jeff Healey Band which received a number of awards and nominations from different award giving bodies.
The Jeff Healey band had poopularized the songs “Angel Eyes“, “How Long Can a Man Be Strong” and a cover of The Beatles’ “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”.
It is such a loss to lose a gifted music artist like Jeff Healey. We pray for the peacefulness of his soul. Jeff was survived by his wife his, Christie, 13-year-old daughter Rachel and three-year-old son Derek.
