Jay-z Praise By Noel Gallagher of the Oasis

Noel Gallagher of the Oasis criticized the appearance of hip hop artist Jay-z on Glastonbury Festival initially. But he recoup his remark by saying “I’m not having hip-hop at Glastonbury. It’s wrong,” as he told BBC.

Jay-Z’s controversial appearance at Glastonbury has been given two thumbs up – by the man who questioned hip-hop’s place at the English music festival. The rapper’s headlining act was blamed for initially slow ticket sales at the Glastonbury Festival.

But on Friday Gallagher, 41, was singing an altogether different tune. “I thought it was great. I love Jay-Z,” he told PEOPLE at the O2 Silver Clef Awards in London, where Oasis received the top honor. “The thing is, I was actually giving my opinion about ticket sales at Glastonbury. And it really wasn’t about hip-hop or anything like that.”

Oprah Top Forbes Top 100 Celebrities

Oprah  Winfrey, again top the list of Forbes Magazine Top 100 Celebrity list after she grabbed the title last year.

The magazine states that the Oprah has a power in “continuing to influence audiences around the world through her vast media empire, which earned her $275 million during the past year.”

Golf superstar, Tiger Woods ranked a close second with $115 million, making him the highest-earning athlete in the world.

Outstanding celebrity couples Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z made strong showings on the list, with the ladies pulling ahead of their man. Jolie came out above partner Pitt, who rounded out the Top 10. And, singer Knowles edged out her new husband.

Miley Cyrus, Zac Efron, and the Jonas Brothers were among those who claimed spots in the new “tween” category. Other noticeable newcomers include The Hills star Lauren Conrad and Sex and the City’s Sarah Jessica Parker, who’s been all the buzz since her show’s big screen success.

Beyonce And Jay-z Officially Tied The Knot

Singer Beyonce Knowles and hip hop mogul Jay-z had made their April 4 wedding official. The couple had applied for an official license last Friday at Scarsdale, New York in accordance with the statement of Scarsdale Town Clerk Donna Conkling, as exclusively confirmed by People.com.

The couple are still silent though Beyonce had been spotted with a wedding ring on her hand. The April 4 Beyonce - Jay-z wedding occasion was  attended by friends and family, including Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles, her father/manager Mathew, her sister Solange, her Destiny’s Child pals Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and the couple’s friend Gwyneth Paltrow.
