Well, they say that any criticism is good advertisement, but I am not sure pestering about one’s body weight is something Cate Blanchette invites as “good�. Not sure the stellar performer even needs such additional exposure to accelerate her career.
So it was a month ago that the press (from Daily Mail in the UK to New Zealand Herald to National Enquirer) went wild over images of Blanchette, photos taken—purportedly–a mere twenty-four hours apart. [see Daily Mail pics for comparisons.]
At a gala fashion event, Blanchette appeared in a spaghetti strap gown, shoulders bone thin and face looking like it was put through concentration camp horrors.
