I Love Grease

Olivia Newton-John was a great actress and many people forget that she was as good as she was. In the grease movie, she really shone in my view and I loved her in all of her other movies as well. The carnival scene in Grease when she wore what has famously been called her cool Sandy costume where she has skin tight black capri pants and matching crop top. She looked like such a rebel and with her wild hair style she was an absolute knockout superbabe of that era and actually I intend to dress as her this year at halloween. Last year I dressed as Frenchie because I look more like her, unfortunately. I watch Grease just about every six months on DVD.

Tom Cruise Flight Suit

Tom Cruise is such a legend the world over and I personally am a huge fan and have been since his very early acting days. He is one of the coolesy guys on the planet and I am told that he is a really decent person as well. I will always remember the famous Topgun movie which is one of the all time great films. The memorable scene where he walks out of the aircraft hanger dressed in his flight gear was such a fantastic clip which just about everyone can relate to. the famous top gun flight suit ranks as famously as the Star Wars stormtrooper outfit in my view. I doubt if there will ever be a movie quite like it ever again.

Luigi For All Ages, All Sizes

The Mario Bros video game has spawned a whole industry based on its two main characters, Mario & Luigi. Originally designed as a palette swap of Mario with a green color scheme instead of red, Luigi has since acquired a personality and style of his own. Luigi has become a physically distinct character, taller and slightly thinner than his brother.

Each Halloween, child of all ages choose these delightful characters to emulate. As they grow older, they tend to keep this attraction alive by purchasing adult sizes of Luigi Halloween Costumes, plus sizes are also available for the “big guys.” Nintendo games, movies, dolls, clothing and collectibles mount in the billions worldwide.

Ask you child (or Big Guy) who they want to be this Halloween and don’t be surprised if the answer is a Costume Mario Bros or Luigi. Wholesome entertaining for the entire family to enjoy. Why, even the pet can own it’s own Mario Bros outfit.

Madonna costume for Halloween

Madonna has been seen around town wearing a beautiful black flapper costume. Flapper costumes will always be popular costumes for celebrities like Madonna or Kim Kardashian. She is wearing dark sultry makeup, which includes deep red lipstick. In the photo she is wearing dark beads but she could have chosen to wear a colored feather boa or long strands of white pearls. We hope she came with a date wearing a gangster costume, but I am sure any date of Madonna would have worn something classy.

Women choose Halloween costumes based on fantasies. Actors and actresses get to act out their fantasies on stage and in movies. I am sure Madonna chose a flapper costume as they were epitomised as the spirit of a reckless rebel. Who better to wear a Flapper costume than Madonna. The ‘Roaring Twenties’ brought a lot of changes to women and how they were perceived just like Madonna broke the mould for many female entertainers. She caused an uproar with the vivid images in her “Like a Prayer” video or wearing costumes which left some people with their jaws left open. But the flapper costume is also very elegant and simple. Coco Chanel a world famous designer was the originator of the LBD – that little black dress. Women in the 20′s wore cloche hats, but Madonna chose to wear a sequined headband in black and white which looked just as elegant. It does not appear that she had to wear a wig but short wigs suitable for the flapper style are readily available at Celebrity costume stores online.

I would love to see Madonna dressed like something from the medieval or renaissance period as I am sure she could pull that off very easily. But to work with some of the original 80′s looks she wore pearls, held a crucifix and mesh shirt. 90’s was her risque period. From the rocker chick, to the weird bra look there are so many sides to Madonna.
