Brad Pitt Wins Another Trophy At The Venice Film Fest

Forever hunk Brad Pitt had been given his second best actor trophy that he was awarded for last year’s The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. “I guess you forgot something here years ago,” said the mistress of ceremonies Wednesday at the Venice International Film Festival. Holding up the gold cup to honor Pitt’s performance in the film, she said, “Brad, this is yours.”

Brad Pitt is attending the Venice film festival opening ceremony to premiere Burn After Reading – looked surprised as he walked up onstage.

“Congratulations for your twins,” she also told Pitt as she handed him the trophy.

“You can run but you can’t hide,” Pitt said laughing. “It was an honor to receive this last year and it’s an honor to receive it this year. Thank you very much.”

The mistress of ceremonies then held up a yellow flower. “This is for your friend George,” she told Pitt referring to George Clooney, his Burn After Reading costar.

Former Business Partner Sues High School Musicar Star Vanessa Hudgens

Its a good business relationship turning bad for Johnny Vieira and Vanessa Hudges the former suing High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens.

In court papers filed Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Vieira is demanding more than $5 million and punitive damages from the Disney star.

Vieira claims that he and Hudgens, now 19, worked together to launch her career – and that they agreed to “share equally” in the profits. (Because the actress was a minor at the time, Vieira contends that a court approved the 2005 agreement.)

Morgan Freeman Released From Hospital

The Dark Knight star, Morgan Freeman has been out from a Tennessee hospital after his Sunday car crash and subsequent surgery as a result of injuries sustained after his car flipped over on a Mississippi highway.  Kathy Stringer at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis confirmed on Thursday that the Oscar winner has been released.

Freeman, 71, was driving in Mississippi’s Tallahatchie County late Sunday when the accident occurred. Extracted from the wreck by emergency crews using the jaws of life, the Dark Knight actor was said to be “in good spirits” Monday after being airlifted to the medical facility.

Paris Hilton Responds On McCain Political Ad

Paris Hilton made a new spoof video featured concerning campaign ads and herself at Funny Or Die.com. Just a week before, Paris Hilton distanced herself from Republican presidential candidate John McCain’s campaign commercial likening Democratic candidate Barack Obama to the heiress and Britney Spears.

In the new online video, Hilton, wearing a bathing suit, addresses her constituents while lounging poolside. “Hey America, I’m Paris Hilton and I’m a celebrity too,” she says. “Only I’m not from the olden days and I’m not promising change like that other guy. I’m just hot.”

Hilton goes on discuss the best place to tan, her solution for the nation’s energy crisis, and her own vice presidential running mate (”I’m thinking Rihanna.”).

As for her competitors Obama and McCain? Says Hilton: “I’ll see you at the debates, bitches.”
